After expiry of the mandatory offer period, the industry specialist holds more than 50 percent of the Advisory Group
Munich, 16 April 2012. Last September, msg systems ag acquired 28.38 percent of the shares in the listed company Plaut AG. At that time, the share package included, among others, the shares of the former major shareholder CANCOM AG. In accordance with legal requirements, msg systems ag had submitted a mandatory offer to the remaining shareholders of Plaut AG as of mid-October 2011 based on a syndicate agreement with three other major shareholders, which now expired on 22 March 2012 following the renewal.
Including the shares acquired through the mandatory offer, msg systems ag now holds a total of 50.93 percent of the shares, making it the largest shareholder of Plaut AG. The consulting group is thus officially a subsidiary of the msg systems group of companies. In the market, however, it will continue to act as an independent company.

Plaut supports companies in the insurance, energy, food and beverage, and business consulting and solution-oriented IT implementation industries.
With this takeover, msg systems is expanding its expertise in enterprise resource planning (ERP) and corporate finance, offering its customers optimum support in end-to-end processes. In addition, msg systems benefits from the strong market presence of Plaut AG in Eastern Europe.
