The kick-off phase of a project begins with the project definition, the project planning and a kick-off meeting.
Expert results are the inventory of the as-is-situation, the as-is-analysis and the identification of weaknesses and potentials for improvement, depending on the type of project. In SAP-projects, the basis activities for the installation and the setup of the SAP-system is scheduled for this phase.

Design – development of target concept/prototype; preparation of implementation
Depending on the project, the results are the design of the target processes, the organisation and technology, the qualitative and quantitative evaluation of the target concept via gap-analysis (actual/target), the check against the target agreement, list of measures, training and training concept, implementation concept.

Enable – reproduction of the target concept in the business process/system
Customizing of the detail processes and forms is carried out in the SAP-system. Further issues are authorizations, definition of master data and functional testing. Alternatively, depending on the project, there may also be added the preparation of manuals, trainings, execution of planning, analyses, conducting reports with the new approaches and further documentation.

Run – implementation of the solution, go live, go live support
Preparation of the go live and go live of the SAP-system including data migration, integration, process testing and fine tuning of the system. Process solutions are transferred from the project to the line. Support and optimisation measures facilitate the go live.
